Krasnoyarsk is so not red. Judging from the photograph, they should change the name to B'eloyarsk.

My question (such as it) is:

if 'ostrich' comes from 'bird'+'ostrich' what kind of ostrich is not a bird? ...and why didn't they just call it an ostrich?
